Our story
Rooted in our heritage, open to the world
Born from the bonds between young Ekang living in Europe, CJED has grown step by step into a recognized organization.

The collective is born
Young Ekang living in Europe meet to preserve their cultural ties and support one another.
- 2022
Legal structuring
The collective becomes a registered non-profit based in Strasbourg, open to the entire diaspora.
- 2023
First humanitarian projects
Launch of the first solidarity actions in Cameroon: supply drives and maternity support.
- 2025
International outreach
Network growth beyond France: Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and North America.

Gala for life
Flagship charity night bringing the diaspora together around health and education.
